Systemic Investing Summit 2026

Systemic Investing Summit 2026

The Systemic Investing Summit 2026 is not a standard conference. It’s a curated, immersive gathering designed to spark deep connection, creativity, and collaboration among people committed to shifting capital toward systems-level impact. Hosted against the backdrop of Rio’s natural beauty, the Summit blends thoughtful dialogue with joyful, human-centered experiences—because transformation thrives where serious work meets moments of celebration and play.

When, Where, and Who It’s For

  • Dates: 14–16 April 2026
  • Format & Setting: An immersive, connection-forward experience in Rio
  • Ticket Price: USD $700
  • Audience Focus: Practitioners embedding systemic investing practices, particularly those in the Global South and those working within institutional capital.

If your work touches capital allocation for long-term, system-wide change, this Summit is designed for you. The organizers prioritize a mix of perspectives and geographies to accelerate learning-to-action outcomes. Note that submitting an expression of interest (EOI) does not guarantee an invitation; each EOI is reviewed to ensure alignment with the Summit’s aims and to create a well-balanced room.

Why Systemic Investing—and Why Now?

Systemic investing looks beyond isolated projects and asks how finance can catalyze durable shifts across entire systems—whether in climate resilience, inclusive growth, regenerative development, or community well-being. The sector is advancing fast, but progress depends on shared practice, peer learning, and coalition building. This Summit convenes leaders who want to move from insight to implementation, and from siloed efforts to co-created solutions.

Interactive, Practice-Centered Programming

Expect a dynamic agenda that emphasizes doing, not just discussing. Through interactive sessions and shared experiences, participants will:

  • Deepen relationships among leading practitioners and innovators.
  • Explore real-world practices that can reshape capital flows at scale.
  • Co-create tangible solutions you can adapt and deploy in your own context.

Crucially, the experience design intentionally integrates lightness and joy—because creativity and trust flourish when the room feels human.

Who Should Submit an Expression of Interest?

The Summit welcomes a broad range of profiles who are actively contributing to systems-level impact, including:

  • Researchers and Academia translating insights into action
  • Institutional Capital Stewards (pension funds, insurers, asset owners) aligning purpose and performance
  • Public Sector and Municipal Bodies enabling policy innovation and the right enabling environments
  • Family Offices and HNWIs deploying catalytic and values-aligned capital
  • Foundations and Philanthropy experimenting with blended finance and risk-sharing tools
  • Multilateral and Development Finance Institutions scaling solutions for the Global South
  • Civil Society Organizations centering community needs and accountability
  • Corporations integrating systems thinking across value chains
  • Networks and Weavers stitching coalitions across sectors
  • Consultants and Service Providers building the scaffolding for execution

If your work embeds systemic practices—or you are committed to doing so—this is your community. Applicants from the Global South and those engaged with institutional capital are especially encouraged to submit their interest.

How to Express Interest and What to Include

To be considered, submit an Expression of Interest that clearly demonstrates:

  1. Your Motivation: In a concise statement, explain why you want to attend and how the Summit’s focus aligns with your mission.
  2. Your Role and Affiliations: Provide your name, organization or affiliation, email, and country—basic details requested in the EOI.
  3. Your Primary Area of Expertise: Select the category that best reflects your systemic investing orientation (from research and institutional capital to foundations, MDBs or DFIs, civil society, corporates, networks, and advisory). If your role is more specialized, use an “Other” description.

Important: Submitting an EOI does not guarantee participation. The organizers will review each submission to ensure the overall cohort is well-aligned and designed for maximum collective impact.

Selection Criteria: What the Organizers Are Looking For

While the Summit does not publish a rigid checklist, the framing indicates the organizers are seeking:

  • Alignment with systemic outcomes: Are you trying to shift capital flows, business models, or policies at a systems level?
  • Ability to contribute and apply learning: Will you engage, share, and put insights into practice in your context?
  • Diversity of perspective and geography: Does your experience help build a balanced room, with emphasis on voices from the Global South and the institutional capital ecosystem?

Pricing and Value

Tickets are USD $700 for the three-day gathering. Beyond access, the value lies in high-signal relationships, practice-sharing, and co-created solutions you can bring back to your organization or ecosystem. For leaders driving complex change, the return on investment often comes from one well-timed connection, a practical tool for de-risking a new approach, or a fresh coalition that unlocks momentum.

What Makes This Summit Different

  • Immersive by design: You won’t just listen; you’ll build, test, and refine approaches with peers.
  • Practice-first: Sessions emphasize practical frameworks and applied tools you can use immediately.
  • Joy and rigor: The agenda blends serious work with human moments that foster creativity, psychological safety, and shared purpose.

Tips to Strengthen Your Expression of Interest

  • Be specific about your systems challenge. What system are you trying to influence (e.g., food, energy, health, urban finance), and where are the leverage points you’re targeting?
  • Show the bridge from learning to action. How will you apply insights with your team, partners, or portfolio?
  • Highlight collaboration potential. Which tools, partners, or perspectives are you looking for—and what can you offer in return?
  • Center equity and place. If you work in or with the Global South, explain how local contexts shape your strategy and what support is most catalytic.
