Who can apply
100x requires every applicant to meet three criteria. The venture must be impact-first, meaning explicitly focused on social or environmental impact and open to any legal form. It must deliver impact in at least one of eight Impact Areas: Climate and Environment, Health and Social Care, Education, Equitable Economies, Happiness and Wellbeing, Refugees and Cohesion, Democracy, and New Frontiers. And it must show a clear ambition to scale to hundreds of millions of lives, ideally with a credible route to systems-level change.
The organizer also prioritizes ventures with impact that has reached at least 10,000 end users (B2C) or indirectly 100,000 people (B2B or B2G), a proven solution beyond ideation, a team of four or more full-time paid employees, and active partnerships that support scale. It aims for 70% of its portfolio to come from emerging markets.
What you get
Selected ventures receive £150,000 in catalytic funding and a long-term partnership with 100x. It begins with a tailored 16-week programme to sharpen your funding and impact measurement strategy and strengthen your leadership. It draws on LSE’s research expertise and connects you with funders, advisers and peers, with possible follow-on funding subject to fit and availability.
The programme is hybrid. Two leaders, including at least one founder or C-suite member, must attend two sponsored trips to London at the start and end of the programme, each lasting 3 to 5 days. 100x covers reasonable transit and visa costs, and the rest of the programme runs virtually. Each cohort comprises two programmes, and each programme may include up to eight ventures.

- An independent selection committee decides, and outcomes are communicated in July 2027.
Advice from the Impact DOTS team
- Collect your delivery evidence first. The criteria ask for end-user numbers, a proven solution and clear evidence of uptake, so line up the figures before you write.
- Describe your route to scale. The organizer favors replication, open infrastructure, market transformation or integration into public or private delivery systems.
- Check your travel readiness. Two leaders must be able to attend two London trips of 3 to 5 days.
